La Vieille Ardenne on grand rue is a restaurant that’s popular with locals and tourists alike. It serves traditional regional dishes and has a wonderful outdoor terrace.

Another great local eating place serving Belgian favourites is Le Baratin on rue des Augustins. The extensive menu includes moules-frites, Flemish stew, Ardennes quiche and a large selection of salads.

On rue au dessus de la ville, Hotel Restaurant Cosy boasts medieval cuisine as its speciality. Inspired by the spices brought back from the Crusades by Godefroi de Bouillon, the traditional dishes, cooked according to recipes from the Middle Ages, are tinged with a hint of the Orient. The restaurant is in a lovely setting, perched high above the town with a panoramic terrace for dining out on hot summer evenings and a heated verandah so that the views can still be enjoyed in the winter.

Good Italian food can be found at La Rocca on rue du petit. On the menu here are classic Italian staples such as pizza, pasta, lasagne, salads and meat and fish dishes. There’s often live entertainment and there’s always a convivial atmosphere. It’s a family-friendly restaurant with an excellent children’s menu.
